Chick on the Right – The View Mocks Christians

Yep I love reading the “Chicks On The Right” and have for quite some time now.    Just like President Trump they speak for me and to me all the time.   This latest article is really great and I felt the need to share it on my blogs.    Here is a link to their website and article

I am going to copy and paste it exactly as it is presented on their website (text only).   Enjoy,

‘The View’ Shamelessly Mocks Christians In The Most Vile Way

 by Hannah Bleau

Why do we allow Democrats to call themselves the party of “open-mindedness” and “tolerance” and “love” and “compassion” when they consistently prove otherwise? If you don’t think the same way they think, if you don’t believe the same way they believe, they mock you and treat you like alien scum.

I’ve had it.

The latest attack comes from Omarosa and the cackling women of “The View.” Omarosa– who’s hit the big time on “Celebrity Big Brother”– decided to mock Mike Pence’s Christian faith, despite claiming to be a Christian herself. She’s all freaked out that Pence talks to God, and it just makes me wonder what kind of relationship with God she has, because that’s kind of how it works. There’s communication. It’s called a relationship for a reason.

Anyway, Joy Behar and her co-hosts decided to chime in and mock Pence, because talking to your Lord and Savior is just so darn hysterical.

“I think what’s interesting is that she said Jesus tells Mike Pence things to say,” Sunny Hostin said.

Behar was all, “It’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you.” She then likened a Christian praying and hearing from God to someone suffering from mental illness.

“As a Christian, that’s just par for the course,” Sherri Shepherd said. “You talk to Jesus, Jesus talks back. What concerns me is, how long is the conversation with Jesus?”

What business is that of yours?

Behar continued to try to deliver the jokes.

“Can he talk to Mary Magdalene without his wife in the room?”

That’s a Catholic thing, Joy. And that’s not even the right Mary. Good grief.

Shepard then suggested that she’s more comfortable with Pence exercising his Christian faith in “moderation.”

“Do we want our politics served to us with a religious veneer over them?” Hostin added. “This administration is not a values-driven administration.”

Listen– I’ve been fairly transparent about my faith and relationship with God. It goes hand in hand with my core values as a conservative, but I don’t mention Jesus in every single post I write, because conservative principles are COMMON SENSE. You don’t have to be a “Christian” to be a conservative. Truth is truth. But when liberals start suggesting I’m mentally ill, it gets personal. I feel as though I have every right to respond.

Call me what you want, but I talk to the Lord too, and guess what? I hear from Him. I’m not going to get into every nitty gritty detail of my life, but I wouldn’t be here, doing what I’m doing and living the life I live without the grace and goodness of God. I wouldn’t be pursuing my passion and working with my best friends. That’s God’s hand on my life, period.

I’ve dealt with really horrifying health struggles with my youngest sister. I’ve had God answer my prayers and have felt His presence. I’ve seen creative miracles, and I know there’s nothing more that the Lord wants than to have personal relationships with each and every one of us. He’s not distant and detached. It’s personal. He’s wonderful and I will NEVER back down. Yes. I’m human. Sometimes, I screw up. I get emotional, but the fact of the matter is, His Spirit is living inside of me. I’m actively discovering who I am in Christ, and lemme tell ya. It’s the real deal. I can barely contain my excitement. Jesus is so good to me.

I’m not Bible thumpin’ here. I’m not telling you how to live YOUR life. This is my life. This is me. I’m just sick of the left’s double standard. Muslims, atheists, Buddhists– OFF LIMITS. But Christians? ATTACK!!!!!! Mock!!!!!! Hate!!!!!!!!

I’m over it. Liberals aren’t open-minded. They’re hypocritical jerks.

If conservatives Christians treated liberal WHATEVERS the way they treated us, all hell would break loose. Can you imagine Joy suggesting that Muslims suffer from mental illness for thinking Allah wants them to kill infidels? That would never happen, even though she’d have EVERY reason to question that motive.

But nope. Christians. We love Jesus– who, by the way, doesn’t instruct us to MURDER PEOPLE WHO DISAGREE WITH US– but we’re the psychos suffering from a mental illness.

Mhm.

You don’t even have to go the “religious” route. Someone can say, “Yeah. I feel like I actually switch back and forth between being a man and being a woman” or “I think I’m part mermaid,” and liberals are all, “Wow that’s FASCINATING. Please tell us more!”

But Christians communicating with God? We’re gross freaks.

I talk to Jesus too, Joy. YOU’RE the hypocritical weirdo.

The Things Men Do – Rod McKuen

The Things Men DoRod McKuenFrom the album “Sold Out – Rod McKuen Live at Carnegie Hall”, 1969

(I still have this original record – it is one of my favorites)

It makes me cry to see the things
Some men do to one another
Makes me cry to see the things some men do.

Every street’s a battlefield and every door’s a jail
And never the sword and not the shield
Can stay the widow’s wail.
I cannot understand, I will not understand
Why freedom stumbles in our land
And it makes me cry to see the things
Some men do to one another
Makes me cry to see the things some men do.

Every road’s a bitter road and songs are only songs
And when in church children kneel
They cannot right the wrongs
I cannot understand, I will not understand
Why terror rumbles in our land
And it makes me cry to see the things
Some men do to one another
Makes me cry to see the things some men do.

Every night’s a lonesome night that lasts a lonesome year
And torches all the brighter burn
To burn away the fear
I cannot understand, I will not understand
Why freedom staggers in our land.
And it makes me cry to see the things
Some men do to one another
Makes me cry to see the things some men do.

JOSE GARCIA AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

From the Bacon Bits Show webpage.     Also on YouTube are some audio talk shows that cover a myriad of subjects including this one and goes into gaming for those who are so inclined.   Anyway enoy this article – there is a wealth of information here.

JOSE GARCIA AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

Think back a year or two to some of the Facebook arguments you had with your liberal friends over illegal immigration. If you’re anything like me you ran into the argument that Obama was deporting illegals left and right. “He deported more people than George Bush!” the liberals told me proudly. Some even took to calling him the “Deporter In-Chief” as proof that their savior was indeed tough on illegal immigration and took border security seriously.

Now the easy counter to that argument was that Obama was counting border turnarounds as deportations, something no other President has done. This vastly inflated his deportation numbers. “But more turnarounds only proves he takes border security seriously” I was told time and again. It was a valiant effort from a group who would never admit Obama was wrong on anything.

You see, way, way back in 2016 it was fashionable, even noble, to be tough on illegal immigration and firm on border security. Even the most dedicated Social Justice Warriors were eager to tout the Deporter In-Chief as the man to fix illegal immigration. Why, Obama himself was once keen to fix the problem, saying this:

The number of immigrants added to the labor force every year is of a magnitude not seen in this country for over a century,” Obama noted. “If this huge influx of mostly low-skill workers provides some benefits to the economy as a whole—especially by keeping our workforce young, in contrast to an increasingly geriatric Europe and Japan—it also threatens to depress further the wages of blue-collar Americans and put strains on an already overburdened safety net.”

Flash forward to this week and notice the media coverage being given to Jose Garcia, who has lived in the United States for 30-years and is now being deported. The tearful interviews with his friends and wife, the heart-tugging tale of how he came to be here. You have to wonder, then, how many of these tales, these profoundly sad stories, have we missed? If the Deporter In-Chief was really taking the strong stance on illegals that I was told he was, is it possible there were 0 Jose Garcia like stories in his 8-years in office? Or were they ignored? And lest we forget, because no one in the MSM will mention this, Garcias first deportment proceeding was in 2015. Gee, who was President then?

Why, just last year, during the Presidential election, the left collectively embraced Hillary Clinton who once said:

“…we have to send a clear message, just because your child gets across the border, that doesn’t mean the child gets to stay. So, we don’t want to send a message that is contrary to our laws or will encourage more children to make that dangerous journey.”

Heck, while a sitting Senator Mrs. Clinton said “I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants. We’ve got to do more at our borders. And people have to stop employing illegal immigrants.”

To people who doubted that tougher immigration polices were needed she challenged “come up to Westchester, go to Suffolk and Nassau counties, stand in the street corners in Brooklyn or The Bronx — you’re going to see loads of people waiting to get picked up to go do yard work and construction work and domestic work,” she said, later adding that those who employ illegals are a part of the problem.

So how did we get from “our candidate IS tough on illegal immigration” to “Republicans are racist meanies for wanting to get tough on illegal immigration” in a few years? Why is the left suddenly so up-in-arms that illegal immigrants are being deported when just 16 months ago they were bragging about it?

That’s an easy question. Their candidates did exactly what the left wanted them to do on immigration: Nothing. For years they’ve played the long con with the American public. Running candidate after candidate who paid lip service to the problem in an effort to appear centrist while having a wink-nod agreement with the hard core leftist base that they would, in fact, do nothing about it. Their master plan has unraveled and their bluff has been called with Trump and they hate it. Because for the first time in modern history someone is doing exactly what they said they would and confronting this growing problem.

Now they’re stunned and saying “Hey, Mr. Trump, we have an unspoken arrangement here in Washington. We tell the plebes we will get tough on border security, we talk about it all the time, but ultimately we do nothing, The public, you see, is moronic and easily placated. You have no business breaking that decades old agreement.”

The left has carefully crafted a pyramid scheme for decades wherein they do nothing about illegals when they arrive, offer them all the incentives they can to stay, and count on it turning into a sob story later on so they can shriek “But he’s been here 10 years he has a life here now you monster!”

The longer they can continue to do nothing, the longer the timer can run and the newest batch to cross the border can turn from “illegal immigrants” into sob stories for the media to tell.

If you don’t act now, if you don’t make the hard decisions now, if you don’t enforce the law NOW, then in 20-years we have a whole new batch of Jose Garcias who will, at some future date when the left needs to demonize someone, magically turn into someone undeportable. It’s a never ending merry-go-around that Trump wants to stop from spinning and the left cant stand it.

After all these years someone is finally doing what they said they would about illegal immigration. Trump isn’t only keeping his promise, he’s fulfilling the hollow promises made by Obama and Hillary on the issue. The promises they never for one second intended to keep.

KNEELING AND THE GREAT RACIAL DIVIDE

This is taken from the Bacon Bits Show Website:  http://baconbitsshow.com/2018/01/02/kneeling-great-racial-divide/

With 2017 over it’s now time for me to address one of the issues that riled me up the most in 2017: The NFL Kneelers and their various supporters.

Throughout the season some players knelt during the National Anthem, others just stood locked arm-in-arm and, on at least once occasion, a team simply refused to leave the locker room. This all started last year when Colin Kaepernick and his radical leftist girlfriend decided to jump on the “police are murdering black people” bandwagon. You may recall he wore socks depicting police officers as pigs, made his admiration for murderous criminal Che Geuverra known and ultimately said he refused to respect the flag of a country that is rife with social injustice going so far as to make the reckless and false claim that the “streets were lined with bodies” who were victims of police shootings.

This year as the kneeling continued, without Kaepernick who is now out of the league, President Trump threw gas on the fire by declaring that NFL teams should fine and/or release players who did not stand for the anthem. In response more players kneeled the following weekend and in unison, gee almost as if someone had given them talking points, they declared Trump to be the Great Divider. All they wanted, they declared, was to shine a spotlight on an issue that doesn’t even exist; namely the murderous rampage they believed police to be on where the primary victims were young black men. They wanted to bring people together not tear communities asunder like Trump was doing. They would unite people where Trump would divide them!

While the notion that these brain-dead players honestly thought that by disrespecting the flag and annoying half the country they would “bring people together” may seem laughable to normal people their cause caught the attention of the usual suspects in Hollywood. Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny Tweeted a picture of themselves kneeling in solidarity, for example, and on and on it went.

One of the major problems with the movement is this: If NFL players really wanted to see people off all stripes and colors united, even if for a moment, all they had to do was turn around. Turn around and take a good hard look into the stands, into the faces of the people shelling out a good chunk of their hard-earned money to applaud them each Sunday.

I have been to a dozen or more NFL games in my life and one thing has always been true of them: In the stands there are no skin colors. Nobody’s religion matters, no ones ethnicity matters, sex, disability, none of it matters outside of the team colors you’re all wearing. You sit next to people you’ve never met and instantly you’re part of a temporary community that accepts everyone.

Go to a game and look around. I’ve seen it at these games. Black guys, white guys, Asians, and handicapped people. All of them cheering in one voice, high-fiving each other and “Can I get you a beer while I am heading that way” to one another. Totally united and enjoying each others company. The sports itself was the great uniter. White people wearing the jerseys with the names of black players on the back and vice versa, nobody caring what color anyone was.

Even those fans who were rooting for the invading team were, for the most part, members of this temporary community albeit while being subjected to plenty of ribbing and teasing.

I’ve sat in those stands, on one occasion next to black guys I have never met who did not care about our skin color and both of whom literally hugged me when victory appeared imminent. If you’ve been to an NFL game you have seen what I have, probably experienced what I have, even if you didn’t make note of it. Diversity and harmony like the radical left always says the WANT to see but then ignore when it happens.

And what was it that took these diverse, united people and drove a wedge between them? Kneeling. The players who called Trump the Great Divider had taken a fan base that has been made up of all the different kinds of people that you could possibly imagine, a fan base that was united for decades, and tore them apart. Suddenly it was no longer one temporary community of diverse people every Sunday. It was two. Suddenly it wasn’t everyone wearing a Bears jersey in the stadium became part of an instant family, it was Bears fans who support kneeling on one side and those who don’t on the other. It was a clear divide on the issue among racial lines, lines that didn’t exist among those fans two short years ago.

Colin Kaepernick and his sycophants did not achieve some sort of racial harmony, they took the fragile and budding racial harmony that did exist, if only for 3 hours a week, and destroyed it. Instead of building on the color-blind comradery that existed in each stadium they burned it down.

And it didn’t have to happen that way. To see some of the racial harmony they wanted all they had to do was turn around.

And now even bigger and more powerful celebrities want to champion the cause of a man who is actively destroying the league that made him a millionaire. The league that gave him the platform from which he shouted “racists” at his legions of fans.

And the dividing didn’t stop in the stands. The wedge they drove, whether they admit it publicly or not, extended to the locker rooms. Locker room that had previously, much like the stands, been color-free zones. Everyone in a locker room, black white or other, is part of a team. A family. The players often refer to each other as “brothers” in regards to their teammates. And yet look at any picture of the kneeling players and see the divide. Some standing, some kneeling. A wedge. Discord primarily along racial lines where previously there was harmony. When the Pittsburgh Steelers decided as a team to not even take the field for the National Anthem one player, Alejandro Villanueva, came out and paid his respects. For a moment he had the top selling jersey in the NFL but then, as often happens, social justice warriors shamed him into an apology with some teammates piling on and being “disappointed” that he chose to break ranks.

Just look at the polls to witness the divide. A September poll by CNN found 59% of whites thought kneeling in protest was wrong while 84% of blacks said it was the right thing to do. Overall most people felt kneeling was wrong and while the NFL tried to ride out the storm instead of dealing with this issue fans made their displeasure known with Twitter accounts popping up to show pictures of half-empty stadiums.

At the end of the day the kneelers who accused Trump of dividing the country were the ones sowing the seeds of discord all along. It was they who took a united and diverse group of fans, seeking to escape political messages and daily stresses for a lousy 3 hours on Sunday, and divided them once again into racial categories. These protests did far more harm than good and may have dealt an irreparable blow to the NFL’s reputation but even worse, they may have set race relations back even farther.
